The Trainers are Christian missionaries serving the Brooklyn borough of Brooklyn. Stephen leads Graffiti Ministries and serves as director of our companion nonprofit, the Graffiti Ministries Learning Center. Carrie is also very involved in ministry while caring for their five children. The Trainer kids, Ryan, Liam, Sean, Audrey, and Nathan love New York City and consider growing up at Graffiti an exciting adventure!

Stephen has been in vocational ministry for more than twenty years. He holds master’s and doctoral degrees in organizational leadership and an undergraduate degree in education. Carrie also has a degree in education and was a classroom teacher for many years before transitioning to homeschooling their own children full-time.
